4 tips to ease postpartum recovery

Are you pregnant now? Did you recently have a baby?

This book was written to help ease your recovery in the immediate postpartum period. These tips will help you avoid constipation, teach you how to do self scar massage, reduce the likelihood you experience urinary incontinence later, and help you move your healing body without pain.

If you had your baby months or years ago, then you may still benefit from some of these tips. Some signs that you would benefit from these tips are

  • if you do not feel fully recovered

  • if you leak urine (even just a little with coughing, sneezing, laughing, jumping, etc)

  • if you have pain in your back, pelvis, hips, tailbone, or abdomen

  • if you have incisional or scar pain from cesarean or vaginal delivery
